About the Recipe
These ribs are a real favourite in our house, and my signature BBQ dish. I have cooked up to 10 racks on the Big Green Egg but the Traeger Ranger is perfect for a couple of racks for the family.
I always use the 2-2-1 method, its pretty failsafe, and produces a great result
Ingredients
Baby back ribs
Dry Rub (or make your own)
BBQ Sauce (or make your own)
Apple Cider Vinegar / Apple Juice
Foil
Preparation
Trim and remove membrane
Rub baby back rib racks with your favourite dry rub. (If you have the time, let them sit overnight in the fridge)
Smoke the ribs at 225ËšF (110ËšC) directly on the smoker grates for 2 hours.
Place the ribs racks on large pieces of heavy duty aluminium foil, spray with apple cider vinegar, then wrap them tightly and continue smoking at until the ribs are succulent and tender, 2 hours longer.
Open up the foil packs and brush the ribs with a barbecue sauce. Cook unwrapped for another hour longer, or until the barbecue sauce turns sticky and glazes the meat.
