The BGE is responsible for my love of outdoor cooking.
Having never been more than a social BBQ cook, you know the usual burgers and sausages, being introduced to Kamado style cooking was a revelation for family and friends that actually enjoyed the food I produced and for me.
The incredible online community and its resources were one of the great things about the BGE, apart from the ability to try so many different cooking styles with one product. Everything from the social media creators to YouTube channels to websites and printed recipe books. I learned everything from these and became much more experimental with my cooks, turning out some great food and, of course, some epic failures.
The BGE has allowed me to grill, bake, smoke, sear, cook low and slow and incredibly fast and hot, even cold smoke, all in a bit of kit that looks cool and is a real talking point.
I am now interested in all forms of outdoor cooking products that use smoke and fire. but I expect my BGE to be the go-to for most of my cooking.
